Ongoing support /advice
throughout the life of your labradoodle |
We want you to be happy, and we want a good home for your
labradoodle. If you are not happy with your new companion
or down the road can no longer keep him or her, we ask
that you let us help you find your puppy a new home.
What size will my labradoodle be?
At this time California Labradoodles is only breeding
miniature and medium Australian Labradoodles. Our miniature
Australian Llabradoodle puppies will grow to between 14
and 16 inches tall and weigh between 12 and 30 pounds.
Our medium Australian Labradoodle puppies will grow between
17 and 19 inches tall and weigh between 30 and 45 pounds.
How much will my puppy cost?
We charge:
$2500 for Phantom puppies. Phantom is a newer color for us so we initially didn't have a long waitlist for phantoms. Our pricing is based on demand. We have been very pleased at the enthusiastic response we have gotten to our phantoms and are now getting many more requests for phantoms. Our pricing may change down the road as our demand for phantoms grows.
$2750 for Black, Chalk, Cream and Silver
puppies.
$3000 for Red, Caramel, Apricot, Apricot Cream and Chocolate puppies.
*Please note that Reds, caramels, chocolates and apricot are the colors in the highest
demand at this time. Some colors will fade over time. We charge more
for reds, caramels, chocolates and apricots because they are our most requested
colors and we want people to consider other colors as well. Reds, caramels, chocolates
and apricots are beautiful, but so is every other color!!!! Also note,
that because so many people are requesting reds and caramels, the wait
for a red or caramel may be longer than other colors.
Your puppy will be sent to you with a puppy pack, which
includes vaccination certificate, spay/neuter certificate,
microchip id, labradoodle association papers and pedigree.
People ask us all the time, what do you do with our deposit?
It is expensive to care for puppies if you do it right.
We never take shortcuts. If your puppy needs something,
he or she will get it. Our price includes all puppy care,
vet examinations and associated medical fees, vaccinations,
spay/neuter, a full worming program and all other associated
costs relating to the health of your puppy. Sometimes complications
can arise after a delivery and the resulting tests and
emergency procedures can be extremely costly.
Do you sell breeding puppies? Puppies
for breeding are different prices, please inquire if you
are interested in breeding dogs.
How long until I get my puppy?
Our waitlist is currently about two to three months out.
It could be longer. It could also be shorter. Because we have had so many litters recently and because we have quite a few upcoming litters as well, we have been moving quickly through our waitlist. We have placed puppies within a week (even a day in some instances) to a week or two out. The period of time until you receive
your puppy depends on mother nature, the color and sex
of the puppy you would like, and the answers people give
on their applications. The more flexible you are the sooner
you will get your puppy. For example, if you only want
red female puppies you will not be advised when we get
male puppies or litters in other colors. Waiting times
will vary. We also sometimes have puppies come available
when someone who has been allocated a puppy cannot take
him or her at that time.
Also, please note, that we reserve the right to retain
any puppies that we think have potential to become breeders
for California Labradoodles. When the puppies reach the
age of 6 - 12 months, we will evaluate if they have developed
the qualities we are looking to infuse in our breeding
program. For example, I may be looking to infuse more wool
coats into the line, and the coat may be fleece or vice
versa. Or maybe I'm looking for a new color, like chocolate
and the pup is red. We will also do health testing at this
time. We have very stringent health requirements for all
our pups. So sometimes we will have older pups for adoption,
that we have decided for one reason or other aren't going
to work as breeders, but will still make the most wonderful,
family companion pets. So if you are looking for an older
pup, check back with us from time to time!
We will ship your puppy to you, or you can come pick your
puppy up, once he or she reaches 8 or 9 weeks old and has
been weaned from his or her mother. If you live outside
the US, your puppy will be shipped after 10 weeks of age
to be sure the puppy is ready for the longer trip home.
We understand how excruciating it can be to have to wait
for your puppy, particularly when you are so excited for
his or her arrival. Please be assured we are doing our
very best to get your puppy to you as soon as he is old
enough to make the journey. We are sure that once your
puppy arrives you will be glad you waited for a California
Labradoodles puppy!
Do you ship?
We will ship your puppy worldwide. International
shipping fees will vary. Some countries require quarantines
and we will not ship to them, unless we can do a "stateside" rabies titer and have them sit out their quarantine here at home.
We will work hard to prepare your puppy to travel without
fear or stress. We do this by exposing your puppy to lots
of different sounds, a variety of people, music, tv and
a myriad of socialization activities. We keep lots of open
crates with treats in them in the puppies play area, so
they get lots of experience going in and out of a crate.
We will crate train your puppy and have him sleeping in
his crate prior to shipping him or her to you. We don't
want the first time he's in a new home to also be the first
time he's in a crate. We want the crate to feel safe and
like home to him, to make his adjustment to your home much
easier.
We will make all the travel arrangements for you, and
let you know your puppies itinerary as soon as we have
it.
U.S. Shipping Costs:
Rate per puppy $350. Shipping within the US will cost $350 which covers
vet examinations to get health certificates required for shipping,
the cost of an airline transportation approved crate, transportation
to and from the airport, and the cost of the flight. |
