California Flame is featured in Caroline Coile's new book, "Designer Dogs: Portraits and Profiles of Popular New Crossbreeds". We immensely dislike the term "designer dogs" as we think it is frivolous and could imply that these dogs are fashion statements. Our dogs are bred with a purpose - to be allergy-friendly family companion and therapy dogs. However we are proud that our boy, California Flame (Dash), was chosen as an excellent example of the Australian Labradoodle.

Monopoly updated it's set and
replaced the Scottish Terrier with a LABRADOODLE in it's newest Monopoly board game, Here and Now.

The newest version of the Oxford English Dictionary, considered by many to be the definitive guide to the English Language, has added the word LABRADOODLE.
As a scrabble buff, I was thrilled to be able to place this word to win the game in a recent scrabble game with a friend.

new Plush Toy, Lucky the Labradoodle, developed by Lord & Taylor,
raised more than $88,000 to be donated to the
American Cancer Society, and also raised $55,000
which was donated to Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Lucky the Labradoodle also was an Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Platinum Award Winner in 2007.

What is a Phantom puppy?
We have recently added phantoms to our lines, and are very excited about our gorgeous phantom puppies.
We thought we'd show you some pictures of our beautiful phantom pups.
So far we are breeding chocolate and gold phantoms and black and tan phantoms.
